When we are overwhelmed with the difficulties of life, it often appears that He is not in control or His control is not taking things in a direction that we like or are comfortable living under. Since God intends that we walk by faith and not by sight we must know just Whom we are trusting in. Here we continue our study of what His plane is for this creation and the one to follow. When the Lord Jesus has brought every person that has ever lived under the authority given to Him, He will then turn the kingdom back to the Father. All things will be brought into submission to Him, and therefore to the Father as well. Then since the old creation has been dealt with perfectly in accordance with the will of the Father, it will be the “time”, to leave time, and to enter into eternity future, with the creation of the new heavens and the new earth. In the new heavens and the new earth there is a huge city called the heavenly Jerusalem which is the dwelling place of the bride of Christ. It is the place our Lord has prepared for His own bride and will reflect His glory. As we look to Him to fulfill His promise we are eagerly awaiting His imminent return. The great beauty of the city itself is nothing in comparison to the fact the God Himself will dwell among His people. What a testimony to the work of Christ that we will dwell forever in fellowship with Him and will always be brought near. Here we look at one of the greatest blessings of the New Jerusalem, there will no longer be any crying. This is a study of the some of the things that caused King David to weep as he walked with the Lord.
