I can fix this!

He claims that you can repair any relationship within 20 minutes, without the other person even being involved. His mindset is, "I can fix this!" Isn't it strange how irritated people become when you tell them there is something they can't do?

On the other side of the spectrum is God's view, "You can't fix this!" in fact you are powerless, godless, sinful, dead. If you could fix this, then Jesus didn't have to die. The cross of Christ stands as a final declaration thoughout all time that you can't fix this. Every day when you tangle with sin; only Christ can fix this.

I am not ashamed, says Paul, of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. May it be your turn today as you listen to this message. May you finally come to the shocking conclusion, "I can't fix this! But Jesus has!"
