8 The Doctrine of the Filling of the Holy Spirit

Man is born depraved and under the judgment of God – he is the “natural” or sinful man as described in Ephesians 2:1 & 2. At the point of his salvation he is elevated to a new spiritual sphere, he is “born again”, he is a “new creature” as taught in II Corinthians 5:17. Does there exist though an even higher plane of spiritual existence. Are those who simply have Jesus second class citizens of God's Kingdom? Is there a second baptism or filling of the Holy Spirit whereby you leave the rest of Christendom behind, those poor shmucks who are simply trusting in Christ and relying upon the holy, eternal, inerrant, Word of God for His divine direction – is there a higher plane for those who are “spirit filled”? Are there carnal churches who worship God as mere Christians as opposed to Sprit Filled churches who have something more? The error of the Charismatic movement is revealed through a clear and precise teaching of the filling of the Holy Spirit from the Word of God.
