6 Charismatics and Mystics

We live in an age where spiritual maturity has been replaced with spiritism. An age where anything miraculous is viewed as from God. An age where the work of the Holy Spirit is defined in existential terms – “does it make give me peace?”, “does good result?”. In an age where any apparition is interpreted by the apparition. In an age where any mystical experience is accepted at face value by the authority of the one who experienced it. In an age where experience helps us to understand Scriptures rather than an age where Scriptures define experience. It is an age where the Charismatics and Mystics abound. Before embarking on a study of the Holy Spirit the errors and deceptions of the age must first be addressed and laid to rest.
