00 Devotional - Compassionate Election: Part One

First of a two part series: One of the great disservices done to the church by the modern evangelical church is the neglect of the great doctrine of Election. This is done more often than not because of a view of this doctrine as cold, lacking both compassion and grace. Nothing however could be further from the truth. The Doctrine of Election expresses as much as any other doctrine the love and compassion of God in his dealing with mankind. Rather than restricting and binding the Christian the doctrine of election frees and protects the Christina both in his personal walk with God and in his ministry.
