Dealing with offences

Offences—stumbling blocks, trip-hazards, death-traps for the soul. Christ warns us about the certainty of such offences and the dreadful consequence of offences: better to die a terrible death than assault the faith of Christ's beloved people or prevent a sinner coming to him. There are sober warnings for all of us, but the sweet assurance that Christ takes the part of his little children when they are threatened.
