John Newton

John Newton was brought up by a puritan mother who taught him the scriptures. She died when he was 7 and he fell into the ways of the world through the sailors he was surrounded by. His life is a testimony to the depths that men can fall to, and the abounding amazing grace that God can bring to bear.

This talk examines his life and hopefully gives us a desire to know something more of the same God that worked so mightily in John Newton's life, in our life.
