What Andy Stanley Knows. Is he stupid or does he just have an agenda?

We start our lecture with a very good rant of what a popular preacher has said. Andy Stanley has the unmitigated gall to tell us that Christians must unhitch the Old Testament from their faith. I’m surprised how much restraint our pastor used in confronting this heinously bad teaching.

Pastor tells us he’s going to do a lecture called Newton’s Vengeance. That ought to be good.

But now on to the lecture. What is the Great Sabbath Rest? NO! Who! is the Great Sabbath Rest? The Ark Rested on the 17th Day of the 7th Month; Genesis 8:4. He is the Ark. He is the Rest! Christ, after the Creation, rested on the 7th day. He is the Ark of Noah, the Ark of Moses and the Ark of the Testimony. Three types of Christ, found in the Old Testament, Andy. Yep, still mad at Andy. And the Crucifixion Week has their reference in the Creation Week, Andy!
