Labor is Worship

Are you happy in your job? What about your time at work? Seconds, minutes and hours at work are as surely the golden gifts of providence in your life to be spent to the honor and glory of God as are are the moments you have with your family. One way you have to fulfill Paul's maxim of redeeming the time is by maximizing the meaning of those moments at work by the passionate investment of your energies to the honor and glory of God. 'Do all things,' Paul says, 'as unto the Lord.' If you maximize those moments with a passionate investment to the glory of God, then every task is a hymn, a prayer, a living sacrifice unto God. You are accountable to God for those moments of time at work. Wasted time should not be in the vocabulary and lifestyle of a Christian.
