Where does stubbornness, impatience, and pride lead us. All of these ugly characteristics pulled Saul down the wrong path. This ugliness hinders us as well. How do we combat it? Think on praiseworthy and virtuous things to dampen impatience, deepen sincerity, and diminish pride. Lift the burdens of others by knowing, serving, and rallying the troops. Confront sin before it begins. Strive for the security and safety of others. Humble yourself before God, or God will do what it takes until you do. Work for the Lord. Don't trouble His work. Either you work for the Lord or the Lord works against you.
