Overcoming Discouragement and Despair

Believers can sometimes be overcome by a deep sense of hopelessness. We can lack hope of change or escape from the difficulties of a current situation. In times like this, we need the hope that Christ gave the two despairing disciples as they walked away from Jerusalem on the Road to Emmaus. Our hope can be restored in the same way Christ restored the hope of these two Christ followers.
