Introduction to Acts

What goals should we have as we venture into Acts?

1. The goal of gathering information about the church's growth, priorities, problems and methods, and about the people of the church: their personal struggles and goals, their missionary methods and plans, and about God: His character and the early work of the Holy Spirit.
2. The goal of seeking inspiration and motivation. It's not enough to know the facts and figures of Acts, we must allow the facts to motivate us to greater service and obedience.
