The Joy of Worship
Series Chronicles
Worship is often an event that is tolerated rather than appreciated and enjoyed. When we consider the work of Christ for us, worship ought to become a joy for us. Israel rejoiced at the dedication of Solomon's temple because they were able to meet with the God who delivered them from sin and death and who was caring for them. God had intended the world to be a place where He could meet with us but that was marred by sin. Thus the temple was built as a place to meet with God. So now God calls us to meet with Him in His sanctuary renouncing every other god and coming to enjoy Him.
