09-The Spirit Witnesses... to What?

In previous articles, I have shown that in conversion the Holy
Spirit brings the sinner to Christ, and immediately begins to
witness to him, assuring him that he truly is a child of God.
Moreover, as I have also shown, this witness is not a one-off
experience: the Spirit continues to witness with, and to, the
believer, granting him assurance throughout his Christian life. Let
me remind you of some of the relevant scriptures:
