V. 13, “reproved” or discovered. Godly obedience is identified as light. It is the nature of light to reveal the shameful secret things. So rather than fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, they are to be reproved with good works. Anything that reveals the hidden things of dishonesty is considered light.
