The Root of Christian Courage

Worldly religion looks for glory, but to follow Christ, expect persecution. Paul exhorts Timothy in this passage to be steady, not cowardly or ashamed of Christ, to have a spirit of LOVE and to have a sound mind, not doing things "behind the back", sneaky or covert. It takes courage to be a true man or woman of God and God Himself gives us the grace to do it.
