The great God of salvation and providence

A psalm of praise to God possibly on the occasion of some notable deliverance from enemies/famine.

1. The sovereign God of salvation v1-4.

• the God who is to be praised
• the God who hears prayer
• the God to whom multitudes will turn
• the God who forgives sin
• the God who chooses

2. The God of creation and providence v5-8. God's covenant faithfulness in the performance of his promises and his governance among men.
3. The God who provides v9-13. Blessings received expressive of his bounty and goodness to all men.
