Romans 6:20-23

Slaves to Righteousness: Part 2
We must present our members as slaves to righteousness. (6:19b)
Because…
Then: You were slaves of sin (20-21)
You were free from righteousness (20)
You did not have good “fruit” (21a)
You are now ashamed of those things (21b)
The end of those things is death (21c)
Now: You are slaves of God, set free from sin (22)
You have fruit leading….
To sanctification (22c)
And to its end, eternal life (22c)
Because…
The wages of sin is death (23a)
But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (23b)
Application
Do we know the joy of presenting ourselves as slaves to righteousness?
