People get married for a lot of different reasons. Sometimes after the marriage occurs, those reasons no longer exist. People say they are no longer in love. Usually what is meant is that the romance is gone, or the sexual attraction is gone or that they simply no longer like who they married. They file for divorce because they are not happy. The Bible commands husbands to love (agapé) their wives. Biblical love is not merely a feeling. It is a commitment. It is in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better or for worse. It is until death do us part.
