The Four Fold Pattern of Evangelism

Last Lord's Day evening, we saw the example of evangelism performed by John the Baptist, the herald telling the world of the coming of the Messiah, the King of Kings. In this week's passage, John 1:35-51, we again see John pointing to Jesus, declaring who He is. Then we see the first disciples of Jesus following the same four-fold pattern of evangelism: herald Jesus, point to Him, let Jesus do His work and fade into the background.
