ZERUBBABEL,A TYPE OF CHRIST
1.HE IS CALLED THE ELECT OF GOD (Hag.2:23) SO CHRIST IS THE FIRST ELECT OF GOD (Isa.42:1)
2. HE WAS PROMISED TO BE EXALTED (Hag.2:23)SO CHRIST HAS BEEN AND SHALL BE EXALTED BY GOD (Acts 2:33; Phil.2:9-11)
3.HE WAS APPOINTED TO BUILD UP THE TEMPLE OF DAVID, HE LAID THE FOUNDATION AND WAS PROMISED TO FINISH THE BUILDING

THE GREAT MOUNTAIN MADE A PLAIN
The mountain are the adversaries against the work of God (Ezra 4:1)They were level by God (Ezra 6:1-15)

THE PROMISE OF GOD
"he shall bring for the headstone" Zerubbabel would finish the work God gave him to do. So Christ, He established His church and He will build and preserve it unto glory. (Eph.3:21)
THE PRAISE
"crying, Grace, grace unto it." It is the song of the saints in glory. Praise to the Lamb and to the grace of God.
