GOD HUMBLED HIS ANOINTED
After Saul's death & 7 years of civil war, the God-anointed David was finally king. This new king had what was probably a good idea: He would bring the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. Yet he did it his way, and God struck a man dead. Good ideas that don't follow God's word are bad ideas.
