The Lamb that was Slain

John was a man who knew persecution. He was not fleeing from it because he has seen the glorified magnified Lord Jesus Christ. He had the privilege of this visitation of Lord. It was encouraging for him, but it should be also encouraging to us. It will be comfort in the midst of our afflictions.
