The Unity of Believer's

Thesis: God's Grace has Unified All Believer's

1. Believer's Partake of the Promise (v.11-13)

   • Any true believer, regardless of background, has same promise of Messiah as Abraham
   • "brought near" = intimacy with Christ and other believers
   • believers should be reconciled to one another as blood has done for believer and God.

2. Believer's Are Part of the Body (v.15-18)

   • all worldly distinctions between people are (should be) abolished in the people of God
   • true, right relationship to God filters to relationships with other believers

3. Believer's Are His People (v.19)

   • believers are citizens of Heaven
   • all believer's are joint heirs with Christ

4. Believer's Are a Temple - God's Palace (v.20-22)

   • church = people of God, not a building. He habitates in people, not structures

CONCLUSION : Believer's need to live in light of who they are in, of and for God
