The Text and Translation of Scripture - 1

This lesson is the first of two parts dealing with Chapter 1 paragraph 8 of the London Baptist Confession of Faith. It deals with the difficulties inherent in translation and some of the questions regarding the Bible as originally written in Hebrew and Greek. Our Particular Baptist Forefahters taught the orginial manuscripts were inspired and perfect. What are the ramifications for us today, since we do not have the original autographs? Included is a discussion of Jerome's Latin Vulgate, and why it does not meet the criteria for a good version of the Bible.
