The Day Of The Lord

Text: Zechariah 14:20-21
Biblical historians tells us that it took 75 years for the returned exiles of Israel to first rebuild God's Temple and then to finish the city walls of Jerusalem. 75 years! During that time God's people were endlessly harassed and attacked by the world. Peace and safety for them seemed elusive. So in his last words to them, Zechariah offers hope and comfort by telling them that true peace and eternal comfort will come to them on that great and terrible "day of the Lord."
