Christ saves us not only from the penalty of sin, but also from its controlling power. No habit is insurmountable for the Christian. We can overcome with Christ! The key is this: we must ask the Lord to work in us not only the willingness to do what pleases Him, but also the doing itself. For often we know what to do, but lack the power to actually do it.
