Peter's Remorse /Judas' Regret

In this passage we see the Sovereignty of God even over religious hypocrisy, but first we see the contrasting figures of Peter and Judas. Peter denies his Lord three times, but has a godly sorrow that will ultimately end is restoration. Judas regrets his decisions causing the condemnation of an innocent man, but his worldly guilt leads only to despair and destruction.
