In Daniel 8 Daniel tells us his vision of the Ram and the Goat and he receives the interpretation of these creatures from Gabriel the arch angel. From here we go to Daniel 9 where we have Daniel interceding for the Hebrew people as they near the end of their captivity by Babylon and he receives the 70 week prophecy.
