Dealing with Sin

David lusted after another man's wife, committed adultery with her and had her husband murdered. Such great sin marred the life and testimony of the 'man after God's own heart' even down to today. A great reminder that every believer is vulnerable to sin, even great sin, particularly after experiencing spiritual success and maturity.

David's sin was 'evil in the sight of the Lord' and would bring great consequences on his life.

This chapter records the account of David being confronted about his sin by Nathan the prophet.

The sin is revealed to David by Nathan telling him a parable which becomes effective in bringing the weight of his sin upon him.
