Fervent Prayer Matters!

In profound answer to God's people's desire to be delivered from the powerful unregenerate abusive worldling kings, governors or politician's threats of death, God performs His greatest acts of deliverance.

Furthermore, we have Jesus' promise that "the gates of hell shall not prevail against (the church)". Some believers like James will suffer greatly, even to the point of death. Others, like Peter or the three Hebrew children in the fiery furnace for a time will be rescued in this nonetheless temporary mortal life.
