The Curse and Its Cure

The prophet Jeremiah in the last days of Judah's survival was made to be a prisoner of Zedekiah. The Babylonian army was camped out at the gates of Jerusalem ready to enter the city and utterly destroy it. But in the midst of this scene of despair comes the word of hope for the future; a word of cure for the curse which affects all mortal beings. These words were needed when God gave them and they are still needed in this day of rampant immorality and corrupt behavior.
