Boasting in a Vision - Yet in weakness

Paul continues his ironic discourse to the Corinthians - this time in the form of self-boasting. Beginning with his vision of heaven initially as an event done to him, he quickly shifts to boasting in his infirmities. As Paul expresses his weaknesses, especially his 'thorn in the flesh', the boast quickly turns to the strength of God. God, where the boasting rightfully belongs, is strongest in our weakness.
