Strike The Shepherd

The Old Testament Scriptures foretell the betrayal of not only Judas but of all the disciples as well. Before Christ was ever born, it was determined by God that the disciples would face the bewilderment and discouragement of Christ's arrest, and leave their Master. Even the disciples' flight, however, has a purpose in God's plan. By it, they were forever steeled in their resolve never to betray their Lord again. Further, Christ's promise to go before them into Galilee is the foundation of their hope.
