A Biblical Case for Church Membership Pt. 1: The Church Defined

The church has been misdefined in our day. We tend to think of the church as a loose collection of individuals that come and worship God on our terms. However, the Biblical view of the church is a "called out assembly" from the world in which God enters into covenant with them. This means that being apart of the church means you were not saved individually so that you and God can do your own thing. Instead, this means that you are obligated to follow and obey the terms that God has set out for His people.
