Give God the Glory He Deserves

Psalm 29 verse 2 is sort fo the theme verse of our congregation. In the front of the Worship they call us and all men to: "Give unto the LORD, the Glory Due His Name; Worship the LORD in the Beauty of Holiness."

At the service this was a preached a new believer was making profession of her faith. She stood up and identified herself with the People of God and vowed to live a life of grateful service to the LORD.

The passage is bold and strong... it calls the Mighty Ones to yeild and offer themselves and what they have to the Lord. The extension of the greatest to the least implies that we should do the same.

We are never more fulfilling the reason for our existance than when we are gathered and calling upon the LORD.
