The New Birth

CHRIST is the Eternal Son of God — He always was and always will be. The doctrine of Christ's Sonship and of the Holy Trinity is vital to any Gospel message.

Our new birth (regeneration; being "born again" or "born anew") is the work of the ONE TRUE AND LIVING TRIUNE GOD!

And of course, while this is a sovereign act of God alone, we also must publicly INVITE ALL SINNERS to come to Christ for salvation. Preach a full and free Gospel, and sinners will be brought to Christ under the message! Cut corners — leave out either God's sovereign agency or man's full responsibility — and sinners will either become confused or will take up an empty profession of faith.
