Encouraging Truths for Pilgrims

Peter's purpose is to encourage and exhort us as we face life's challenges as pilgrims in this world. Four key truths encourage and exhort us from these verses: 1) You may not 'fit in' here - but you have been chosen by God 2) Life is not out of control - God is accomplishing His loving purposes 3) You are set apart from the world so that you can be God's special possession 4) Your purpose is to faithfully follow Jesus Christ - but His blood provides cleansing when you fall short.
