Mercy for the Afflicted, Part 1

We must interpret this psalm on four levels -- of David, of Christ, of the Church, and of each individual Christian personally. Main idea: God has mercy for the afflicted who trust in Him. I. Promise of Mercy (vv. 1–3). II. Plea for Mercy (vv. 4–10). III. Praise for Mercy (vv. 11, 12).
