Judgment at Bethel

We look at the passage where some children mock Elisha and are eaten by two bears. Some would say this in not genuine and not the Word of God since Elisha was a peaceful man. We see Elisha who had just experienced spiritual blessing on two occasions. He goes from Jericho to Bethel and we see the battle between true and false religion. We are reminded that God does not change and we see His judgment in the New Testament as well with Annanias and Sapphira.

We are reminded to approach each day knowing that God sees what we do and knows us and to end each day reflecting on just how we brought glory to Him.
