Adopted By God For Glory

Adoption by God is a special blessing in which it pleased God to give "family" privileges to those who are loved in Christ for the glory of God. God adopts us as sons and daughters in order to glorify Himself in His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. God’s act of adoption is a distinct part of God’s work of redemption and reconciliation. So, adoption as sons of God is necessary in order for God to fully accomplish His purpose for creating people, which was to glorify Himself by forgiving guilty sinners and giving them life with Him forever.
