A Harlot as a Member of the Church

The family of Rahab the Harlot was saved from perishing in the fall of Jericho to the children of Israel. She believed God and that He was with Israel, so she protected the spies. For this a promise was provided that would save her family in the coming destruction of the city. Not only was her life saved, but she and her family were incorporated into the people of Israel. A child of God beforehand, Israel acknowledged and accepted her confession of faith. And not only this, but she was incorporated into the linage of David and of Christ.
