The Centrality of the Cross of Christ

God did not spare His own Son in paying the penalty due us. Often it is easy for us to forget when our lives are difficult how much God loves us. The scriptures are consistent in this point that we should be directed back to the cross of Christ to remember the love of God for us. Paul turns to the cross of our savior to give these brethren hope.
