Truth from the Great Shepherd

The truth of the Bible's wisdom literature—and by reasonable extension, the whole canon of scripture—has its origin in God. He graciously communicates it to us through the process of inspiration. The purpose of the truth so given is to guide a sinner to Christ and instruct him in obedience. This revealed word is not only useful but sufficient. No book, even the most highly-regarded Christian work, is necessary for salvation and obedience. God's word is authoritative and sufficient.
