Israel Neglects the Priesthood

This last part of Numbers chapter 16 reflects the ignorance of the congregation of Israel as it concerns the intercessory work of Moses and Aaron for them. While it might not be correct to say that Israel learned their lesson for this error, it is certain that the LORD judged them for it. There are good application that can be derived from this text to help the NT, church-related child of God. Also, we learn the something of the importance of intercessory prayer for daily living.
