2. Tithes.

i. Obligatory tithing and ceremonial priesthood belonged together in Israel.
ii. Pre-Sinai examples of tithing were voluntary and "one-off".
iii. Later OT references remain in a ceremonial context.
iv. The NT is silent on the tithe as a continuing standard for Christian giving.

3. Offerings.

How shall we give? 2 Corinthians 9:6-7.
i. Bountifully.
ii. Purposefully.
iii. Willingly.
iv. Cheerfully.
v. Responsively.
