Do Whatever He Tells You

The mother of Jesus knew that He could do miraculous things. Mary learned that we must do whatever Jesus tells us. Mary did not take charge of Jesus, she encouraged the servants to do what He tells them. In every one of the miracles that Jesus did, He had someone doing something. God works in the context of obedience. As we do what God says, we see His miraculous power. What is the measure of your obedience? We must work hard and do our best when we obey Jesus. We need to obey wholeheartedly. Full obedience is what the Lord is looking for. When God does something, He does an excellent job, all the time. The world we see around us is marred by sin after the fall. God has more beauty than we have ever seen or imagined.

Can Christians drink wine? Drunkenness, is a sin and forbidden as Christians. For some people, drinking an occasional glass of wine is acceptable. For others it is not okay. If family members are or were alcoholics you are at a greater risk of being an alcoholic. Anyone who has to have alcohol should not have it. If someone you are married to should not have alcohol then you should not have it either. We should want to do God's will more than we want to live.
