The Beginnings of The End Times

Pastor Chronister starts off the sermon with some insightful comments about the terrorist attack of 10 years ago. He says it's the beginnings of Ezekiel 38.
Then pastor talks about a card people were handing out at our Alaska State Fare. The card says, "I am a soul, I have a body." So far, so good. Pastor teaches us something very similar. He tells us, You are a living immortal spirit soul that has a physical body. But this card, when you flip it over, it says, "You illuminate the path to success, through the light of your inner contentment." Pastor says, that is syco-blather. And he has other names for it. It's the New Age junk that is passed off as religion these days. Our pastor tells us some of the things that he would have put on the back of a card like that. Things like, Why are you a living soul? What is a living soul? Can a living soul evolve from a primordial soup? What is your purpose? Do you have free will?
The rest of this sermon is a continuation of last week which I believe you will find fascinating. The purpose of pastor's teaching is to move the Bible student from mistake prone novice, to someone who can correctly discern and interpret the Holy Bible.
