Church and State distinct yet both subject to Christ - the supremacy of Christ over the nations - the need for national repentance - the covenants still binding upon the sworn three kingdoms of England, Scotland and Ireland - instances of national covenanting in Scripture.

The need for individual conversion to Christ - the declaration of the exclusive gospel of Christ - why the Covenanters were willing to suffer.
