Spirit Superintended Supplication

The work of the Holy Spirit in the assurance of salvation appears very powerfully in His help to believers in the place of prayer. When, because of their infirmities, they are not sure what they should say in prayer, the Holy Spirit reads their deepest longings and teaches them how to frame their petititions. Indeed, the point of the Apostle Paul is that without the Holy Spirit, there is no real praying at all.
